Day 1 ,2 3 Falmouth to Truro, Mitchell and Newquay

All I can say I’m glad that’s over ! After a very early start to the day to get set up for filming at pendennis point, I began to waymark the great English way from mile zero …

As Hari had an injured paw from smashed glass on Falmouth 2 months ago I bought a dog stroller for him! And trying to push him up the hills was a an absolute nightmare .. fortunately Hari seems to have found his walking legs and has been powering up and down the hills with only the occasional rest in the stroller on the flat!!

I thought I would be able to do a podcast, videos etc in addition to the documentary film and capturing the sounds of the way, and the voices of the people of the path but to be honest I’m so tired already that the last thing on my mind is posting to Instagram ..especially as they banned us yesterday for going against community guidelines!! One photo of a Labrador a cathedral and a path!! That’s why I am not a fan of technology anymore! At least here I have control and the only person who can ban me is me!!

I will try to share as much as I can along the way but I think most of the work will be done once I’ve finished .. and I’m sure you don’t want a minute but minute commentary …

Let me just say this .. I have met some fantastic people on the path already who have shared their stories with me and I look forward to the great unknown of what will happen tomorrow…

I was really amazed to be asked to do a voice note for the mel Osborne show on BBC Radio Cornwall this morning and was grateful they broadcast the full 4.5 minutes when I was asked to do a 2 minute piece!!

Have a listen on BBC sounds when you can .. we’re at 1 hour 45 in…

Have a great day

Alan and Hari

Alan and hari out!
