I’m not quite sure what day we’re on but I know we are on the Great English Way Take 2 ! And we are heading to blandford forum tomorrow !J

In case you are unaware Hari and I are on the second pilgrimage in a month from Falmouth to Canterbury ( nearly 400 miles ) to capture more voices and sounds of the landscape as well as get more film footage which involves walking the path again!

It’s been a very different walk from the first one in May, mainly that I am getting fitter and stronger and Hari seems to be really struggling on the hills and anytime the sun is out.

He is ten and a half which is late 60’s in human years so given that, he really is doing fantastically well.

We have met some amazing people with some interesting stories which we will document in our voices and sounds of the landscape section of the exhibition later in the year, but filming has been kept to the path and the English landscape and the documenting of hari’s pilgrimage to Canterbury.

We hope to be in Canterbury on Monday 15th which is 2 days earlier than planned thanks to some heavy days of walking more than 25 miles ! No wonder Hari is tired ..

We have also been camping a lot more and the extra weight and the packing up of the gear every morning whilst trying to manage Hari has made it rather challenging ..but.. it has been an amazing journey so far, and we have almost completely mapped out a new walk on old paths… the great English way is officially (unofficially) in existence ..

I say unofficially as I have not asked any one for permission to create this walk nor received any funding .. this is a pilgrimage / walk / adventure forb the people by the people (me) !

I’ll update you later on as we near Canterbury and will post occasionally on Instagram ..
